We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming event "China and the World".


The event will include a Business Forum on business opportunities in Hubei and South-Central China and an exhibition that will feature a collection of photographs taken by Lorenzo Riccardi.


Lorenzo Riccardi has always been fascinated by geo-economics, and has combined his passion for traveling new frontiers with interest in emerging markets. During the event, Lorenzo will show images and economic trends sharing his passion for traveling and the interest in doing business with China in a global context. Lorenzo Riccardi has completed a world journey to all sovereign nations covering all 193/193 member states of the United Nations and including the 140 members of the Belt Road Initiative.


Located in South-Central China, Hubei is known as the important center of Chinese heavy industry for the automotive, steel, and petrochemical sectors and a part of the Yangtze Economic Belt. The province covers a total surface area of 185,000 km2 with 59.2 million inhabitants. Yichang is a prefecture-level city located in the western part of the province and is its third-largest city. The city has long been a major transit port and distribution center of goods and serves as the province's economic hub. Yichang is home to several major hydroelectricity projects, and the best known of them are the two dams on the Yangtze River: the Three Gorges Dam and the Gezhouba Dam.
