Objectives

The Belt and Road Initiative is one of the most ambitious and relevant projects in both economic and political terms. BRI focuses on the creation of vast economic areas constituted by +140 countries and regions that are geographically placed on two main corridors.

The course has to aim to explain the rising importance of strategic partnerships in projects framed under the umbrella of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The lecture will focus ion FDI and economic trends between China and Belt Road countries, with specific details on Central Asia and Africa.
