We are pleased to inform you about the lecture “China: economic trends and opportunities for businesses” as a part of the event celebrating the twinning between UNESCO sites of the ‘Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato’ located in the region of Piedmont, Italy, and the ‘Honghe Hani Rice Terraces’ located in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan province, China, organized by the Association for the Vineyard Landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato Heritage, which will be held online on October 21, 2022.

Highlights

In recent years, China has implemented numerous reforms of the corporate and tax systems which have allowed for ever greater internal development and a more attractive context for foreign investments in various strategic sectors of the country. This lecture aims to provide insights on the main principles and overview of how to structure a business in China and internationally and of the Chinese tax system with updates and tax reforms in China.
