China’s CPI Nov 2023
According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's Consumer Price Index (CPI), a leading indicator of inflation, decreased by 0.5 per cent year-on-year in November, the highest in the last three years.
On a monthly basis, November's CPI fell 0.5 per cent, while the average CPI for the first 11 months of 2023 rose 0.3 per cent year-on-year, data show.
Additionally, the data revealed that China's Producer Price Index (PPI), which measures factory-gate prices, fell by 3 per cent year-on-year in November after contracting by 2.6 per cent in October.
