We are pleased to inform you about the seminar “Expatriate Taxation in 2022” which will be held on-site on December 10th, 2021.

In recent years, China has implemented numerous reforms of the individual tax systems which are focusing on a more balanced tax burden for national and foreign individuals. With reference to bonus there will be a new way to calculate tax for all employees to come into force on the 1st of January, 2022. For expatriate there will be no more tax exemption on benefits but China is still granting special treatment for talents in specific regions and provinces. This seminar aims to provide insights on the main principles of income tax and provide an overview of individual income tax in China and of 2022 tax planning in light of the recent updates and tax reforms. Presentation slides will be in English, while the speech will be in Italian or bilingual Italian-English if requested.
