Philippines Full Year GDP 2025 +4.4%

According to the latest data from the Philippine Statistics Authority, the country’s economy expanded by 3 per cent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, bringing the full year GDP growth to 4.4 per cent.

 

On a seasonally adjusted basis, GDP increased by 0.6 per cent quarter-on-quarter, following 1.5 per cent in the third quarter.

 

Private consumption grew by 3.8 per cent in the fourth quarter year-on-year, government spending by 3.7 per cent, and fixed investment decreased by 2.9 per cent. Imports of goods and services declined by 3.4 per cent, while exports rose by 4.8 per cent, improving from 2.2 per cent in the third quarter.

 

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects GDP growth of 5.1 per cent in 2025 and 5.6 per cent in 2026, supported by gradual disinflation, government reforms and fiscal spending.

 

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a political and economic union of ten members, has 667 million people and a territory of 4.5 million Km2; is currently the third largest economy in Asia-Pacific and the fifth largest globally. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 4.2 trillion, according to estimates for 2025.
