According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) stands at 49.8, indicating a contraction in activity.
Manufacturing activity with the production sub-index at 50.4 remains in expansion, increasing by 0.5 from the previous month. Market demand also remains close to the growth threshold, reflecting the sector’s evolving economic environment.
