Sace Meets Vietnam 7 May

We are pleased to inform you about the event “SACE Meets Vietnam" organized by the Italian Export Credit Agency (SACE), under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and the Consulate of Italy in HCMC and supported by ICHAM, which will be held on May 7, 2024, at Park Hyatt Saigon Ballroom in Ho Chi Min City.

Located at the eastern edge of mainland Southeast Asia, Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world. The capital of the country is Hanoi, while Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city. With a population of over 96 million, it covers an area of 311,700 square kilometers.

A large part of Vietnam's economy is based on industries like textiles, food, furniture, plastics, tourism, and telecommunications. Agriculture accounts for 15 per cent of GDP and 38 per cent of employment. Vietnam offers various tax incentives to attract and encourage foreign investment into key sectors that are aligned with development goals.

Vietnam's economy grew by 5 per cent in 2023 and the government is targeting GDP growth between 6 to 6.5 per cent for 2024.
