Singapore’s GDP 2022

According to the preliminary data from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore's economy grew by 3.8% in 2022, exceeding government expectations of 3.5% but slower than 7.6% in 2021.


GDP expanded 2.2% in Q4 2022 on a year-on-year basis, compared to 4.2% in the third quarter, while on a quarter-on-quarter seasonally adjusted basis in October-December the GDP grew 0.2%.


The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a political and economic union of ten members, has 667 million people and a territory of 4.5 million Km2; is currently the third largest economy in Asia-Pacific and the fifth largest in the World. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 3.6 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
