Vietnam and ASEAN Business Trends 30 Jan

We are pleased to inform you about the event “Vietnam and ASEAN: Economic Trends" which will be held on January 30th, 2023, at the S.R Vietnam Consulate in Turin.

Vietnam

Located at the eastern edge of mainland Southeast Asia, Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world. The capital of the country is Hanoi, while Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city. With a population of over 96 million, it covers an area of 311,700 square kilometres. Vietnam’s GDP growth in 2023 has been adjusted upward to 6.8% in the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO)’s January Update, up from 6.5% in its October report.

ASEAN

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a political and economic union of ten members, has 667 million people and a territory of 4.5 million Km2; is currently the third largest economy in Asia-Pacific and the fifth largest in the World. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 3.6 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
