China Customs announced further tariff cut from July 1st 2018 on consumer goods

In order to give a further boost to the domestic consumption, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that MFN (most-favored-nation) tariffs on almost 1,500 articles of daily consumer goods will be cut from July 1st 2018, including food preparations, pharmaceutical products, cosmectis, articles made of plastic, rubber, leather, apparel, clothing accessories and footwear.


Moreover, MFN provisional duties rates on 210 items will be abolished and replaced by lower custom duties rates.
