China official public holidays 2019

The General Office of the State Council has issued today the Notice no. 15 (2018) with the official public holidays calendar for the year 2019. Employees working in China will enjoy seven national holidays:

  • New Year’s Day, 3 days from December 30, 2018 to January 1, 2019. The make up day will be on December 29, 2018;

  • Chinese New Year (or Spring Festival), 7 days from February 4 to February 10, 2019 with two make up days on February 2 and February 3;

  • Tomb Sweeping Festival on April 5, 2019 and the week end on April 6 and April 7;

  • Labour Day on May 1, 2019;

  • Dragon Boat Festival, on June 7, 2019 and the week end on June 8 and June 9;

  • Mid-Autumn Festival on September 13, 2019 and the week end on September 14 and September 15;

  • National Day, 7 days from October 1 t October 7, 2019 with two make up days on September 29 and October 12.
