We are pleased to inform you about the seminar "Future Trends from the Emerging World" at conference FASHCON1 that will be held in Hong Kong on 22nd March 2019.
Lorenzo Riccardi has been invited as speaker with a focus on Afro-Eurasian opportunities along the Belt Road and International projects between China and Africa.
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is one of the most ambitious and relevant projects in both economic and political terms which is promoted by Chinese president Xi Jinping. The project finalised the creation of vast economic areas constituted by +70 countries that are geographically placed on different corridors.
The main objective is to improve the economic and commercial cooperation and relations. This will intensify international trades and provide greater economic and development stimulus to all the countries involved. Focus Africa: African economies are growing quickly, and they will soon catch up with China’s growth rate.
Join our seminar and learn more about how Chinese investments in Africa are going to change the geopolitical trends in the near future. Lorenzo will be sharing hands on risk assessments for key African nations. He’ll also be giving us an insight in where there are potential opportunities – or obstacles.

Lorenzo Riccardi, Managing Partner of RsA Asia
Lorenzo Riccardi is based in Shanghai and teaches Chinese Taxation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During his career, he has also taught Asian taxation at Pecking University, Tongji University, Xian Jiao Tong Liverpool and Hult Business School. He is a CPA specialized in international taxation and is the author of articles and essays on issues of various kinds related to foreign investment in East Asia.
