Asia is the largest continent in the world by both land area and population. With over 4.6 billion people, around 60% of the world population, and a sprawling landmass of 44.5 million Km2, it encompasses a wide array of economies, including both emerging and developed markets. Asia is the fastest growing economic area, as well as the largest continental economy by both GDP Nominal and PPP in the world. It has a combined GDP of USD 39 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
