China’s FDI March 2023

According to the Ministry of Commerce, actual Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland increased by 4.9 per cent during the first three months of 2023 to RMB 408 billion.

Actual use of foreign capital in high-tech industries jumped by 18 per cent from a year earlier.

Moreover, investment in electronics and communications equipment manufacturing grew by 55.7 per cent year-on-year, while investment in the science and technology conversion services surged by 50.3 per cent.
