Indonesia GDP 2022 +5.31%
According to the latest data shared by Statistics Indonesia, the country’s economy expanded by 5.31 per cent in 2022, faster than the 3.7 per cent expansion of 2021 and in line with the projection by the Indonesian central bank of between 4.7 to 5.5 per cent.
GDP expanded by 5.01 per cent in Q4 2022 year on year, a downward compared to 5.72 per cent in the third quarter.
The country is expecting a GDP growth between 4.9 and 5.01 per cent in 2023.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a political and economic union of ten members, has 667 million people and a territory of 4.5 million Km2; is currently the third largest economy in Asia-Pacific and the fifth largest in the World. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 3.6 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
