We are pleased to inform you about the seminar "Invest in Chaoyang", held on September 13, 2024.

The event, featuring Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce, Li Fei, and the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Lorenzo Riccardi, is aimed at companies interested in learning more about China and its business opportunities, as well as gaining insights into the country's geopolitical environment, and promoting cooperation and networking among all Italian, foreign, and local businesses in the area.

Chaoyang District is one of Beijing's six urban districts, located in the south-central part of the city. It spans 470.8 square kilometers and has a population of 3.5 million.

The district hosts all foreign embassies in China, 90 per cent of the capital's international media organizations, 80 per cent of international organizations and chambers of commerce, over 70 per cent of international investment companies and regional headquarters, over 65 per cent of foreign-invested financial institutions, and 50 per cent of the foreign population.

Chaoyang District is also a key area for international exchange in science, technology, culture, and sports. Zhongguancun Chaoyang Park, a national high-tech park, focuses on developing high-end industries such as mobile communications, information services, new energy, advanced equipment, and biomedicine. It serves as a hub for international R&D innovation and a driving force for strategic emerging industries. The district is rich in cultural and athletic resources, with major national facilities such as the Workers' Stadium, the National Olympic Sports Center, and the Capital Library.
