Sichuan Well-Known Enterprises 27-30 May 2021

In order to deepen Sichuan’s opening-up and cooperation, the “2021 Well-known Chinese and Foreign Enterprises” is held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from May 27th to 30th 2021.

The event is themed "Promoting high-level opening up and integrating into the new development pattern". It is hosted by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government. The Economic Cooperation Bureau will jointly undertake the work with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Economics and Information Technology, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese.

During the event, 647 projects signed with domestic and foreign investors, a total contract value of 647.55 billion RMB.

Many industrial projects were signed:

48 primary-industry projects with an investment of 23.24 billion RMB, accounting for about 3.6%;

436 secondary-industry projects with an investment of 417.95 billion RMB, accounting for about 64.5%;

163 tertiary-industry projects with an investment of 206.35 billion RMB, accounting for about 31.9%

In terms of the nature of the funds:

47 state-owned projects with an investment of 56.89 billion RMB, accounting for about 8.8%;

577 private-owned projects with an investment of 554.59 billion RMB, accounting for about 85.6%;

23 foreign-funded projects with an investment of 36.06 billion RMB, about accounting for 5.6%.
