We are pleased to inform you about the lecture “The Changing Role of China as a Tech Hub in South-East Asia” Organized by the Research Center on Contemporary China(CSCC) and the Graduate School of Management of Polytechnic University of Milan, which will be held on July 15.
The lecture is part of The China School, a program that combines talks by some of the world’s leading China scholars with visits to international corporations and career-oriented meetings. The sixth edition of The China School focuses on China’s hi-tech development and its impact on the growth of the world’s second-largest economy and global capitalism.
The session will explore how China is reshaping its role as a leading technology hub in South-East Asia through investment in digital infrastructure, partnerships with ASEAN countries, and the global expansion of companies like Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent. It will also highlight how geopolitical and regulatory dynamics are influencing regional tech ecosystems and innovation.
