Vietnam’s FDI November 2022

According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, actual Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Vietnam increased by 15 percent during the first 11 months of 2022 to USD 19.6 billion.


The manufacturing and processing sector received the largest amount of investment, 59.5 percent of the total, followed by real estate, 16.7 percent.


The country’s top sources of FDI were Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.


The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a political and economic union of ten members, has 667 million people and a territory of 4.5 million Km2; is currently the third largest economy in Asia-Pacific and the fifth largest in the World. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 3.6 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
