Vietnam's Trade Trends October 2022
According to the latest data from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the country's international trade recorded a surplus of USD 2.3 billion in October 2022, while the total amount in the first 10 months reached a surplus of USD 9.4 billion.
Data shows that October was the fifth consecutive month of trade surplus, with exports rising 4.5% to USD 30.2 billion, while imports rose 7.1% to USD 28 billion. Meanwhile, cumulative growth from January to October 2022 showed exports up 15.9% from a year earlier to USD 312.8 billion, and imports increased 12.2% to USD 303.4 billion.

The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 3.6 trillion, according to estimates for 2022.
