China: import duty rates on meds and drugs lowered to zero from May 1

From May 1, 2018 the MFN import duties on a number of medicines and drugs, especially for cancer treatment, will be provisionally lowered to 0% from the previous 3% - 6%.

The measure will reduce the burden on the majority of patients, since the purchase of 28 kind of medicines and drugs will become less expensive.
